Bemutatkozás

A fonetika eszköztárával (akusztikai elemzések, percepciós kísérletek) a magyar prozódia jelenségeit kutatom, részben más nyelvekkel összehasonlítva (pl. német, szlovák, angol, cseh, lengyel, szíriai arab). Laboratóriumi fonológiai kutatásaim elsősorban a magyar magánhangzó-hosszúság produkciójára és percepciójára irányultak. Szociofonetikai szempontból érdekelnek a legtöbb nyelvhasználó számára tudatosan nem észlelhető, de finom mérésekkel tetten érhető hangváltozási folyamatok (hosszú magánhangzók rövidülése, az /E/ magánhangzó nyíltabbá válása fiatalok beszédében). A dajkanyelv kapcsán az édesanyák beszédében kifejeződő érzelmek prozódiai jellemzőivel és az érzelmi töltetek észlelésével foglalkozom. A tundrai nyenyec uráli nyelvben a szóhangsúly, prominenciajelölés és az információs szerkezet prozódiai megvalósulását kutatom.
