Actually, language does not consist of words, but constructions, it is not a series of words, but a web of constructions. The basic idea of the project stems from this, that it is not the words or lexemes (cf. “lexicon”) that worth to be collected, but the constructions. This is what the “Hungarian Constructicon” is trying to do. The result of the project will be a freely accessible and usable online database.
