We invite submissions to the 2023 issue of the journal Beszédtudomány – Speech Science
We invite submissions to the 2023 issue of the journal Beszédtudomány – Speech Science. Our goal is to increase the number of international publications, as is signalled by the bilingual name of the journal. Studies in all areas of speech science are welcome, among others in the field of:
- articulation, acoustics and perception;
- speech technology, speech recognition, speech synthesis, forensic research and applications;
- realization/manifestation of phonological processes in speech;
- language acquisition;
- foreign languages, bilingualism and multilingualism;
- prosody, syntax;
- pragmatic aspects;
- clinical research, speech and language disorders;
- development of corpus, databases;
- disharmonious phenomena in speech.
Studies for the next volume are expected by June 12th, 2023. The language of the submissions should be English or Hungarian. The expected length of the studies is at least 30,000-40,000 characters (including spaces). Given that the journal is only published online, there is no upper limit on paper length. Papers will be published based on a double peer-reviewing process. The submission and reviewing process will be administered via http://ojs3.mtak.hu/. More detail on formatting and uploading your papers is available on our webpage.
In addition, we are launching a new section called Work in progress and methods where we are looking for 10,000-30,000 characters of small-scale research, studies that have been started but not yet developed in detail, and methodological procedures. If you would like to publish in the section on other topics, please contact the editors at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first submission of the manuscript should be in pdf format.
If you have any questions, please send us a note to email@example.com.
