Regularity and flexibility: the Hungarian language from the perspective of English

In his article “Grappling With the Mysteries of the Hungarian Language”, Budapest Business Journal (BBJ) journalist, David Holzer, looks into the mysteries of the Hungarian language. As part of his research, he interviewed Judit Kozma, research fellow, and Dorottya Jakab, junior research fellow, members of the Hungarian Usage and Language Consulting Research Group of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics. Based on the interview, he wrote an article which was published on the BBJ website. The main themes of the article are: the regularity of the Hungarian language, its flexibility in the face of linguistic change and its attitude towards new words.
