The 1st Contrastive Pragmatics Symposium was a success

The 1st Contrastive Pragmatics Symposium was held on 18-19 July, and organised by the Interaction Ritual Research Group of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics. Tamás Váradi, director of the Institute for Language Technologies and Applied Linguistics opened the programme. The event featured excellent presentations by speakers from China, Italy, the United States, Finland and Slovenia.
