Lecture on the history of modern linguistics at a secondary school in Budapest
Our colleague, Cecília Sarolta Molnár gave a lecture entitled “Extincting Indians, angrily sleeping colorless green ideas, wugs and other interesting figures from the history of linguistics over the past 100 years” at ELTE Radnóti Miklós School on 14 March 2024. The talk was held at the annual Days of Science event entitled “From Bálint street to András Cházár street”. It focused on the happenings of the past 100 years, to commemorate the fact that teaching started in the school building 100 years ago.
