- Hotel name: IBS Garden Hotel
- Address: Tárogató út 2–4, Budapest II
- Three-star hotel situated in a quiet, residential area on the Buda side of the city .
- All rooms have a private bathroom, balcony, color TV and Internet connection.
- There are non smoking rooms and rooms in which smoking is permitted.
- The building complex also houses a fitness center as well as a tennis center.
Getting there
- From the motorways M1/M7 (from Vienna or Lake Balaton): Drive along Budaörsi út (direction Erzsébet híd), but do not take the flyover towards Erzsébet híd. Instead, turn to the left to Alkotás út and go straight until you reach the end of a large park on your right. There turn left onto Krisztina körút and go straight on. The name of the street changes to Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor, then Hűvösvölgyi út; at that point, you are already very close; take a left turn to Tárogató út, and you are there.
- From other places by car: You have to find Moszkva tér, an ugly square at the Buda side of the city (the closest bridge is Margit híd; if you cross it coming from the Pest side, you will get straight to Moszkva tér). The street leaving Moszkva tér at the far right edge is Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor; from there, see above.
- From Western Railway Station (Nyugati Pályaudvar) by public transport: take tram No. 4 or 6 to Moszkva tér... from Eastern Railway Station (Keleti Pályaudvar) take the M2 (red line) underground to Moszkva tér...
- From the airport by public transport: take 'reptér-busz' (airport bus, this is the official name, it has no numbering) which stops right in front of the terminal exit and takes you to the M3 (blue line) underground station called 'Köbánya Kispest'. Take this line to Deák tér, a junction, and change to M2 (red line). Take this line to Moszkva tér...
- From Moszkva tér, take tram No. 56 (or bus No. 56) and take off at the stop called Kelemen László utca. See the map for further details.
- From the airport (Ferihegy, T2): by direct shuttle bus service (approx. 2100 HUF (8.5 EU)/person/one way), which takes you right where you want to go. Return ticket is 3500 HUF (14 EU). There is a counter (Airport Minibus) in the Arrivals hall, where you can buy your ticket. On your way back you have to order it the day before your journey: (+361) 296-8555. (You have to call the last 7 digits when in Budapest). We do not recommend taking a random taxi parking somewhere on the spot. You should call one: some of the companies that we would trust are City Taxi 2-111-111 or Buda Taxi 2-333-333.
